The Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST, T 831 899-2555) buses stop at the Monterey Airport. The fare to Asilomar is $1.75 one way and takes 30 minutes. Take any Monterey-bound bus and ask for a free transfer when you board the bus. At the Monterey Transit Center, disembark and transfer to the #1 Asilomar bus. There is rarely more than a 5-minute wait at the transfer point. The #1 bus will let you off at the front gate to the Asilomar Conference Grounds.
Taxis from Monterey Airport to the Asilomar Conference Center are $20-25 one way and take ~17 minutes.
From San Francisco International Airport (SFO) or San Jose Airport (SJC), take 101 South to 156 West. Take 156 West to Highway 1 South, through Monterey to the Pebble Beach/Pacific Grove exit, turn right on Holman Highway/68 West. Stay on Highway 68 West/Holman Highway for 3.5 miles until it becomes a city street called Forest Avenue. Continue on Forest Avenue for about 1 mile and make a left turn onto Sinex Avenue. In just under 1 mile, Sinex Avenue ends at the front gates to the Asilomar Conference Grounds.
A family room will be provided at the Discussions meeting. The room will offer diapers, plastic bags for diaper disposal, and an area for meeting attendees with children to rest and play.
On-site child care at the meeting can be arranged by individuals interested in this service by contacting VIP Babysitting Service (T 800 838-2787 or 831 394-5449). Babysitters will provide in-room care or on-site outings at your request. Those in need of this service are advised to book in advance.

Public Transportation from Airports to Asilomar Conference Center
Public transportation is offered by the Monterey Salinas Airbus (T 831 373-7777) with service from the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and San Jose Airport (SJC) to Monterey for ~$40 each way. Users are advised to book a reservation at the Airbus website in advance. Travel time from SFO to Monterey is 2 hrs and from SJC, 1.5 hr. The Airbus will pick you up from the SFO or SJC airport, and transport you to the Monterey Transit Plaza/Ordway Drug Store on Pearl St & Alvarado St in Monterey. Go by taxi from the Monterey Transit Plaza to the Asilomar Conference Center at 800 Asilomar Blvd, Pacific Grove CA 93950 (T 831 372-8016). It is 3.5 miles and will take ~8 minutes.
